Dana Prutschi B.A. Hon., M.H.Sc., S-LP (C) Reg. CASLPO,
Speech-Language Pathologist

Dana holds a Masters of Health Science from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Medicine program in Speech-Language Pathology where she was the winner of the Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award and the Margaret Stoicheff Alumni Award. She also holds an Honours degree in Linguistics from York University. Dana is registered with the Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC), the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) as well as the Ontario Association of Speech Language-Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA).

Dana worked for 15 years at the Hanen Centre in Toronto, as part of Early Abilities in the province’s Preschool Speech and Language program. While there, she was trained in world-renowned therapy programs, including: It Takes Two to Talk®, More Than Words®, Learning Language and Loving It®, and ABC and Beyond®.

In addition to the many individual children Dana has helped over the years, her client list includes private schools, childcare and nurseries who seek out her expertise for their students and staff. Dana resides at her home in Thornhill with her husband and two daughters.

Dana was on the Jerry Agar show on NewsTalk1010 to discuss the Toronto Catholic District School Board’s proposal to create a multi-language specialty school.
